Inspired by being in nature. Expressing the calm and peace and sense of beauty when walking with my dog.
This painting was developed from beautiful and soothing beauty of hedgerows in Cornwall in Spring, just after lockdown ended.
I loved working on this piece to convey my emotional response to the moment and this little piece of beautiful nature.
It celebrates nature but also aims to preserve this experience whcih is of course threatened through climate change.
